John Riddoch (1827 - 1901) is the man responsible for putting Coonawarra on the map after establishing the Coonawarra Fruit Colony in 1891. The grapes for this sibling to the organic Chardonnay are sourced from Angove's own Organically certified Nanya vineyards and premium certified Organic growers in the Riverland region. The result is a versatile, vibrant and spicy yet easy to drink red full of dark fruit and soft oak flavours, with a long yet soft, earthy finish.

The typical Margaret River Cabernet characters of red berries and leafiness are neatly balanced with the softer, plummy notes of Merlot.

The Levantine Hill Cabernet Sauvignon is redolent with blackberry, blackcurrant and cocoa-rich chocolate. The supple, balanced middle palate evokes truffle, bramble and earthy complexity.
