Reschke's Cellar Release range presents a collection of wines crafted with meticulous care resulting in wines of exceptional quality. Each wine in the Cellar Release range showcases Reschke's commitment to producing exceptional vintages that exemplify the unique terroir of their region, delivering a harmonious balance of flavours and a memorable drinking experience. This Cabernet Sauvignon is deep ruby in colour, and exhibits enticing aromas of blackcurrants and cedar. The palate reveals layers of ripe blackberries, dark chocolate, and subtle spice, with integrated oak and soft tannins for a complex and lingering finish.

The fruit is sourced from a selection of our very best Estate Grown grapes in the heart of Coonawarra, resulting in the production of a truly exceptional wine. This rich and fruit-driven parcel of hand-selected Cabernet fruit exhibits a deep ruby red colour alongside aromas of ripe-dark fruits. The palate presents flavours of mulberry, blackcurrant, and juicy plum complemented by hints of pepper spice. The wine provides a full-bodied structure that is beautifully balanced by silky tannins and excellent varietal characteristics – for that lasting impression.

The Author pays homage to pioneering vigneron John Riddoch (1827 - 1901). A true visionary, Riddoch is regarded as one of the founding fathers of Australian wine. An influential figure, he established the Coonawarra fruit colony in 1890 and is synonymous with the region's story. The Author represents the finest expression of the vintage. Dark red in colour, with a crimson hue and classic aromatics of ripe cassis and blackberry fruit. Vibrant blueberry and black forest fruit flavours aew well integrated with hints cedar and spicy oak from maturation in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.Elegantly structured, fine grained tannins lead to a long and persistent finish. This has all the hallmarks of a classic Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and will drink well now but will reward patient cellaring for 10 to 15 years.

Made from fruit from a vineyard situated from the warmer end of the region in the northern part of Coonawarra. The vineyard is 20 to 25 years, with a mixture of red loam over limestone and ironstone, with the fruit machine picked. Intense dark fruits with integrated oak that lets the fruit shine. A finish of gently refined tannins that complement the fruit.

The superb Wynns Coonawarra Estate Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is a debut release, marking the first time the winery has bottled this varietal as a standalone offering. Sourced from the McKillop Vineyard in northern Coonawarra, it features vibrant red fruit flavours of raspberry and violet, supported by fine chalky tannins and aged exclusively in large-format neutral French oak vats for freshness.

Wynns is in the fortunate position to have holdings of some of Coonawarra's oldest Shiraz vines and coupled with recent plantings in the 1990s, Wynns now have fruit that is worthy of its own place amongst the Wynns elite. Enter Wynns Black Label Shiraz - with a dense, dark nose of pepper, mulberries and distinctive florals that are the perfect gateway to a palate that is rich and complex. Flavours of layered red berry, spice and chocolate with tight, focused tannins that will see the Black Label Shiraz become another Wynns favourite.

The Malleea (an aboriginal word for 'green paddock') is a very fine exapmle of the classic Australian Cabernet/Shiraz blend. The 2008 is rich, dark magenta in colour, with ripe plums, spice and vanillin oak on the nose. The palate is like a complex fruit cake with layers of fresh berries, black olives and hints of chocolate.

Mildara first released wines in the late 1800's and was one of the earliest pioneers of the Coonawarra region in the 1950's. One of the most exciting wines in Dan's Cellar Release program, the 2004 Rothwell Cabernet is a wine of fierce structure, elegant balance and sheer drinkability. Classic blackcurrant, minty, toasty oak, medium bodied with a juicy pastille richness and firm tannins. Superb right now, it will evolve over many years to come.

Another string to their 'Single Vineyard' bow, Wynns reinvested in the Child's vineyard in 2009 - elevating the fruit there from its traditional supporting role in other premium releases (including John Riddoch and Black Label) to having a dedicated bottling of its own.
