As the custodian of some of the world's oldest Grenache vines, Marco Cirillo has been called the guru of Grenache! The 1850s Grenache, as the name suggests, has fruit that comes from vines that date back over 160 years. Truly remarkable flavours of red fruit, earth and leather notes. An old world feel comes from a glass of this new world Grenache.

This spicy Barossa blend is based on fruit from mature Grenache vines. Ripe plum aromas jump out of the glass and the palate is rich and fruity with velvety tannins providing a lingering finish.

Old vine Grenache, Shiraz and Mataró combine in this Barossa red. Aromas of raspberry, dried herbs and floral notes introduce juicy berry flavours on the palate framed by fine tannins. [biodynamic]

Youthful, mid-weight palate, bright spiced red cherry and ripe raspberry fruits on attack to turn to a slately, dried spice and cherry pit close. Precise and focussed, fine sandy tannins and bright acids deliver drive and finish.

Single Vineyard 100 year old vines. Hand picked, small open fermentation, unfiltered, basket pressed. Its Lush mouthcoating and lighly grippy. Aromas of eucalyptus, blackberry & maple syrup. Black pepper, fig jam and truffles. Not produced every year Limited production. cellar for 10+ years

GSM- Block 178- showcases the Barossa richness of Grenache with full middle palate of Shiraz and the finish of Mataro (Mouvedre). Full bodied, old vines from selected vineyards add depth, structure and great appreciation to the blend of three famous varieties. Ripe robust fruites of prune and plum. French oak 22months maturation.

Shiraz 95% and 5 % Grenache, offers a bold and robust wine. With aromas of spices of nutmeg, cloves. Black coffee and dark organic chocolate notes integrated with strewed plums and dates. Cellar 13 Barossa Grenache is a modern Grenache that proves old vines can learn new tricks. Just like the Cellar 13 shed, this Grenache proves that its whats on the inside that counts. A racy palate of vibrant red fruits, with lovely ripe varietal characters with a hint of rose water. Fine dusty tannin from grape skins combine with slight stalk tannin to deliver a fine medium bodied wine with persistence.
