The 1998 Brookman Cabernet Sauvignon gives a very elegant nose full of violets, blackberries and cedar with hints of pencil shavings, liquorice and tobacco. The palate is deep and layered with a velvety texture and very well balanced flavours.

Ben Riggs has hand-crafted a delicious Shiraz Cabernet Merlot blend here that pays homage to the three-spiked prickle that can be found in the McLaren Vale region and the fact that it's hard to ignore.
