Lashings of blackcurrant on the palate are complemented by lengthy, fine grained tannins and hints of cedar oak.

From the stable of Devils Lair, Fifth Leg is a blend of Cabernet, Shiraz and Merlot that is a soft and supple drink-now style. The quality of the Margaret River fruit gives it flavour which will appeal to the serious red wine drinker as well.

Aromas of ripe plum, blackberry and dark cherry with hints of spice and subtle oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied, offering juicy dark berry fruits layered with mocha and savoury notes, supported by soft tannins and balanced acidity for a smooth, approachable finish.

Chateau Tanunda was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the First vines planted in the Barossa in the 1840s as well as the Valleys first winery. The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon are from select rows of our Eden Valley vineyard. This wine displays deep, rich purple and red hues. The bouquet has lifted aromas of blackcurrant,bluberry and spice on the silky smooth palate with hints of cedar and mint.
