Zema Estate have been producing quality Coonawarra Cabernet since 1982 but have been "growing" since the 1800's. The 2004 Family Selection Cab benefits greatly from a cool growing season allowing the rich flavours of blackcurrants and dark cherry to shine.

The Parker Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is made in a riper, more generous style to its peers, yet with enough restraint to display the distinct varietal and regional characteristics. Dark chocolates, violets and notes of liquorice capture the nose, revealing a expansive soft palate layered in berry fruits. Supported by fine grain tannins, the wine encompassing a classic structure, one that can be enjoyed on release and or cellared short to medium term.

The Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon has an impenetrable black colour; it is very fragrant with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, fresh tobacco and sweet pepper. The palate is intense and concentrated with a fine structure showing abundant blackberry, cassis, minerals and light toasty oak notes that combine to give a long persistent finish

'Black Label' Cabernet Sauvignon, which was first vintaged in 1954, has evolved markedly over the decades. It is arguably Australia's most recognised Cabernet Sauvignon, and has more than any other, helped define Coonawarra. The wine is matured in new and seasoned French oak for 12 to 18 months. A classic Coonawarra Cabernet with pristine dark berry/ cassis aromas, fine grained tannins and underlying savoury nuances, it develops into a rich, chocolaty wine with age. In a super vintage, this wine can look astonishingly like a 2nd or 3rd growth Bordeaux with its pure cassis aromas and cedary complexity. V & A Lane is named after a long straight road that dissects Coonawarras renowned terra rossa strip. A historical location, first surveyed in 1851, it has long been used as a landmark setting out the northern and southern ends of Coonawarra.
