The Regional Series from Capel Vale showcase grape varieties and their most suited regions. This example of Margaret River Cabernet has all the traditional flavours of blackcurrent, bay leaf and a hint of cigar box.

Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon has a generous and beautifully structured palate, layered with dense fruits of the forest, ripe tannins and a persistent fruit finish. Taking all before it at the recent Dan Murphy's National Wine Show of Australia, this Xanadu Cabernet will be snapped up quickly!

The bouquet shows great density, ripe concentrated blackcurrant, anise, black cardamom and lifted lavender with hints of black olives and plum aromas. The entry on the palate is soft and succulent whilst displaying a subtle texture with a black core of fruit including boysenberry, dark cherries and olive tapinade. The tannin and acid are seamlessly integrated from the front through to the long and lingering finish.

This Cabernet Merlot continues to win wide acclaim due to its dark purple colour and its lifted aromas of raspberries and black forest cake. Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon is another match that delivers something greater than the sum of its parts. Blend the rich upfront flavour and a lingering aftertaste of Cabernet, with the silky softness consistency of Shiraz, add a splash of Merlot, and you have a Rouge of super delicious deliciousness. This blend has been simply foot-crushed, hand-plunged during wild ferment and basket pressed to old oak for some sleepy time. The Cabernet, Shiraz & Merlot are all from our Quindalup vineyard.

Pure Margaret River Cabernet ripe redcurrant with a touch of cassis and mulberry overlaid by leafy, violet aromas and dusty cedar notes. Richness, softness and length of flavour are features of all our Cabernets from this vintage. The wine has remarkable mid-palate fruit flavour and richness while still showing the freshness, fineness and acidity for which Margaret River Cabernet is renowned.
