Located in the picturesque Anjou district of France's western Loire Valley, the region is famous for producing generously flavoured, textural wines with various levels of sweetness. The two red grapes used in production, Grolleau and Cabernet Franc impart a delicious spectrum of summer red berry fruit, combining the classic stylistic descriptor of 'strawberries and cream'.

A sip of Devil's Lair Honeybomb is an expression of flavour, colour andtextures in the mouth. Light pink with a copper hue, this wine has crushed summer berry flavours with a creamy texture and a seductive hint of sweetness. Squealing Pig is a tale about a pig who wanted more from life. Keen on wine, but not a fan of the boar, he went on an adventure to Marlborough and Central Otago seeking out Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Rosé wines with a difference. Pale salmon colour it is a crisp, silky smooth style of Sparkling Rose. Intensely aromatic on the nose and tastes full and luscious on the palate.

This blend is unbaked which highlights the natural fruity character of the wine. There's lots of spicy cherry notes with blackberry and plum. Serve with slow-roasted pork shoulder and lots of greens. Two Hands is a winery that rarely puts a foot wrong, and the 'Gnarly Dudes' is no exception. The Gnarly refers to the gnarled old Shiraz vines this wine comes from. The nose jumps immediately out of the glass with hints of Asian spice, blackcurrant, rasberry, black pepper, anise and the slightest waft of perfumed violets. The palate gives up a generous hit of black cherry and liquorice. With great complexity, heavy tannins and a brilliant long length, this is a wine that will greatly reward a few years in the cellar.

The Butchers Block is a traditional Barossa blend made with grapes selected from the Turkey Flat vineyards, including some from the original old vine plantings. It is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvédre (Mataro). 'Part of the grapes come from the home vineyard that has some of the oldest vines in the Barossa, planted by Peter Schulz's great-grandfather Ernest Schulz. The wine has the drive, focus and intensity often missing from this Barossa blend; that said, there are both black and distinctly red fruit components, and the tannins are firm.
