Great Ocean Road Gin Distillery Creek
This fresh bright contemporary dry gin features orange as its citrus base, giving a lovely orange aroma on the nose. Named after an illicit distillery in Aireys Inlet back in the late 1880's, this gin features four local botanicals - coast tea tree, riberries from the lillypilly tree, wild fennel and river mint. The local botanicals bring an earthiness and soft herbal finish, to complement the juniper and citrus.
StableViews Distillery Abrolhos Gin
Brewed, Double Distilled, Steeped and Hand bottled on premise. The Houtman Abrolhos is a chain of 122 islands, about 60km off the Geraldton coast of Western Australia. An archipelago with crystal blue waters and an abundance of sea life, we envisioned a premium Gin that would include native Island Botanicals. After 6 months of scouting, foraging and cultivating our own botanicals with a second re-distillation to perfect the balance between the base botanicals and the added Grey Saltbush and Beaded Samphire, we finally had success with emulating the Abrolhos in both taste and looks. We foraged for native botanicals that are found on the Abrolhos Islands. These are handpicked, cleaned, lightly blanched, rinsed and then steeped into the high ABV Spirit for up to 48 hours. They are then painstakingly hand-milled, weighed and put through a vapour basket in 45-minute interval changes over a 3 day second/spirit distillation. Botanicals Used; Grey Saltbush Beaded Samphire Juniper Licorice Root Angelica Root Cassia Quill Clove Lemon & Lime Peel Green Cardamom Pod Coriander seed Saltbush and Samphire were also included into the vapour basket during distillation for extra flavour. The addition of these native botanicals gave the Gin an earthy and herbaceous taste. The added botanicals have resulted in tastes like green apple skins, cucumber, slight capsicum hints with a very light tang and smell of salt spray. Hand Bottled, Labelled and packaged on Premise in Dongara. An earthly flavoured Gin that is best enjoyed with a light tonic and garnish to enhance the native flavours our distiller recommends Green Apple Slices, Celery or Blue Berries.
Spring Bay Tasmanian Pink Gin
Family owned Distillery located in Spring Bay Tasmania. Botanicals: 11 including 3 local botanicals (Native Bush Pepper, Lemon Myrtle, Tasmanian Wattleseed). Botanicals are steeped for 24 to 48 hours then additional Juniper and Liquorice Root are vapour infused in the neck of our copper pot still to give a traditional Juniper flavour at the front of the palate through to a sweet liquorice finish. This gin is triple distilled giving the spirit an ultra-smooth flavour despite the higher than normal ABV. Nose: Immediate sweet floral notes of juniper, liquorice and spice. Palate: From a bright and sweet juniper opening, the flavours build across the palate to include perfumed floral notes, bright citrus and a crescendo culminating in a big, warm and comforting glow of star anise and liquorice root. Finish: A round smooth mouthfeel from this oily spirit gives way to a fine clean finish of liquorice and spice.

A contemporary tropical fruit salad gin packed with flavour that tastes like a holiday. Opened with much fanfare and many wide-eyed guests on the 15th August 1971, our iconic Big Pineapple is testament to the magic of big dreams and a bit of fiber glass. What a sight it was, (and still is) to see! This delicious sub-tropical fruit salad gin celebrates that day and the Sunshine Coasts most loved tourist attraction. Pineapple, passionfruit, strawberry, mango, vanilla and coconut combine to make a surprising, delightful and evocative gin. Pot Distilled in the hinterland rainforest, Sunshine & Sons Pineapple Parfait Gin has all of the aromas of the 1970's Big Pineapple Parfait Desert; Pineapple, strawberry, passionfruit and coconut with a smooth crème Brule feel of vanilla tapered lift. On the palate it is very pretty, aromatic and bursting with tropical fruits. Soft, perfumed, very textured, silky, jelly like structure, powerful Sunshine Coast flavours with floating fusions of Pineapple and passionfruit. The crucial mix of attitude, insight, native and exotic botanicals, pure Australian water and innovative distilling process define this hand-crafted Gin. Distilled in small batches in a custom built 230L Müller copper still, fresh ruby grapefruit, native aniseed myrtle, cubeb pepper and tonka beans are used to create this Gin. A smooth, well-rounded Gin for making classic cocktails and controversy. Perfect in a G&T with a ruby grapefruit garnish, and holds its own in a martini or negroni.
