Michele Chiarlo was founded in 1956 by the sole and present owners, Michele and Giuseppina Chiarlo. Son of over seven generations of esteemed wine growers, Mr. Chiarlo is today one of the most respected producers of the fine wines of Piedmont and a leading figure in its viticultural industry.Barbaresco Reyna comes all along from the vineyards of Barbaresco and Treiso. Reyna has always been an exceptional and traditional Barbaresco, aged in large barrel. Its main features are the elegant tannins, the delicate spices and the silk sensation in the mouth.

Rizieri is located among the beautiful hills of Diano D'Alba, in the heart of Langhe, at an average altitiude of 350 metres. Most of the vineyard work is done by hand. The harvest is entirely by hand. The principles of sustainable agriculture as set by the Piedmont Region are closely followed.. The delightful Nebbiola d'Alba is described as follows - Bright ruby-red with garnet reflections. Intense nose packed with rosehips, ripe red fruits and marinated cherries. Balsamic and spicy hints, powder, dark chocolate and hazelnut in the background. In the mouth, it is elegant, harmonious with good freshness, velvety tannins and a long finish. A perfect reflection of the variety and of origin, it shares bouquet and elegance with the Barolo.

When young, Fontanafredda Langhe Nebbiolo features a fragrance which is wonderfully spontaneous and full of surprise. In its bouquet, colour, and generous, velvety body this wine brings out all the typical qualities of the grape it is made from. Later in life, its colour becomes garnet-red with strong orange shades, and its nose deepens, with traces of withered flowers, such as rose and above-all geraniums. It's warm, soft, well-bodied flavour is velvety and well-balanced, lingering in the mouth.

An extremely pleasing and drinkable wine, and although it has a high alcohol grade this never overpowers its fruity character. Its red colour has Bordeaux reflections and the slow trickle from the edge of the glass confirms its optimal concentration and good body. The palate is caressed by a smooth tannin content typical of the Nebbiolo grape and by a warm and enveloping flavour.

Barolo Bricco Boschis is rich, seductive and totally beautiful. A radiant Barolo, the wine captures the essence of the year. Sweet red berries, flowers, spices and mint all flesh out in this gorgeous, sexy Barolo. It should drink well pretty much right out of the gate. Stylistically, it shows the personality of the ripe vintage.

The Maretti Langhe Rosso weaves rich and opulent Barbera (70%) with the haunting aromas and structure of Nebbiolo (30%) to create an inviting and rewarding wine with layers of complexity one that is truly expressive of this unique wine region.
