Wynns, modestly priced cabernet is very good, in a pure fruit, lighter, more accessible style than Black Label. In the glass its bright and alluring with concentrated aromatics of rose and forest floor, accentuated by subtle dried lavender and white sage. The palate Juicy, lush and generous, layered with dark rich brambles of blackberry, cherry, plumb and moss. A vibrant bouquet of black fruits, tobacco and cedar with hints of chocolate and roasted coffee. The palate has the wonderful intensity of Cabernet flavour with fine French oak contributing polished structural tannins. The addition of Merlot and Malbec completes the picture, adding the complexity of plum and wild raspberry flavours and plush mid-palate fruit. Suitable for cellaring for 5-7 years.

Bin 707 is a Cabernet Sauvignon reflection of Grange, intensely-flavoured fruit, completion of fermentation and maturation in new oak, expressing a Penfolds understanding of multi-vineyard, multi-region fruit sourcing. Bin 707 was first vintaged in 1964. The wine was not made from 1970 to 1975 when fruit was directed to other wines, nor in 1981, 1995, 2000, 2003 or 2011 (when fruit of the required style and quality was not available). Full bodied and with proven cellaring potential, Bin 707 retains a secure place among the ranks of Australias finest Cabernets.

The Lachlan Ridge Shiraz 2 Lt Cask exhibits lifted aromas of raspberry and sweet plum with hints of spice supported by vanilla oak. On the front palate sweet raspberry and dark berry fruits are present. Medium grainy tannins are evident, adding structure; however this red wine remains soft. The mid palate is rich with fruit sweetness, vanillin oak and spice complexity, ultimately finishing dry and soft.

This 2 litre cask displays a fruit driven bouquet consisting of red berry-fruit, cherry and plum characters. The palate is light, soft and well-balanced with a lingering fruity finish.

This wine is the flagship of Domaine A and is only produced in vintages of exceptionally high standard. The bouquet shows classic Cabernet varietal aromas and the palate is long and concentrated.
