Straw in colour with subtle green hues and a delicate nose displaying apple and pear characters. While this wine retains the freshness and vibrancy that Prosecco is known for, the fruit for this NV release was picked later to provide a softer, rounder palate full of crisp citrus notes. This refreshing sparkling is made to drink young while at its light and delicate best.

With its eye-catching packaging, Belvino is sure to get the conversation started. But, this is not just about the packaging! The finest glera grapes were softly pressed and carefully twice-fermented to produce a harmonious and intense sparkling wine with a rich bouquet and pronounced flavours of fresh cut pear and crisp apple. Tenuta Ca' Bolani Prosecco is a step above most. Made by the great winemaking family of Zonin, this is fresh and lively Prosecco done very well; musk, grapey flavours, creamy mousse and very mouthfilling.

Saracosa is from the Barbanera family estate, where half the vineyards are in the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, and the remainder just beyond. In the 5-Star 2017 vintage Saracosa’s old vines delivered exceptional concentration. Dense, dark cherry and chocolatey tones make this a serious choice for pasta with pork ragù or bistecca alla fiorentina (steak with cannellini beans in tomato sauce).

De Bortoli Prosecco is sourced from Victoria's King Valley - known as Little Italy given many Italian migrants have become multi-generational winemakers in the area. The sparkling wine tastes of apple and pear with fresh pithy lemon, gentle creaminess, complete with the very fine bubbles. Great on its own or shared with food.

Santa Margherita Prosecco di Valdobbiandene has a very fine, persistent bead and scents of apples and pears that act as a prelude to the flavors of ripe stone fruit with a bit of melon and orange. Fresh and lively with a long, dry, yeasty finish. Bargain.
