After cellaring, Chapel Hill’s McLaren Vale Shiraz reveals an even deeper connection to its origin and style. The savoury, brooding edge of McLaren Vale has softened into layers of earthy complexity, while the plush dark fruits remain, now more concentrated and seamless. Time has added polish and elegance, lifting the wine to a beautifully balanced, almost ethereal expression of the region. A Barossa Shiraz with a difference - as colourful and dramatic as its label suggests! Dan’Jango is a lone-wolf, a maverick, a liberator, fighting his own personal war for freedom, for great wines. He personifies the dynamic RedHeads team, who have always looked to 'liberate' grapes, often destined to disapppear into big name blends.

Deep Crimson with violet hues. There is a very delicate and pretty nose with perfumes aromas and a dash of fig. There are some forest floor flavours with a savoury mid palate and a touch of pepper along with rich plums and black cherries.

Hentley Farm focuses on producing elegant and complex single-estate and single-block wines reflective of their exceptional piece of Barossan terrior. 'The Marl' takes its name from the fruit grown on red clay loam over marl (a friable earthy deposit consisting of clay and limestone) which reduces the water and nutrient availability producing low crops and rich flavours. With a strong aromatic profile, this straight varietal Grenache punches well above it's weight delivering stunning amounts of blackcurrants and raspberry and a hint of spice on the palate with a soft and balanced finish.
