The friends in this French Alsace style blend are 'aromatic varieties', probably riesling and gewurztraminer. The colour is pale, the bouquet is sweetly fragrant and floral. A dab of sweetness, full, rich and satisfying.

The colour is light, bright and glistening. The wine displays aromatics of lifted grass with tropical guava and lychee. The palate shows a crunchy textural component which lingers to a refreshing dry finish and a subtle flinty minerality which is characteristic of the Hamilton Road vineyard.

Vernaccia is a white Italian wine/grape produced around the Tuscan town of San Gimignano. An absolutely delicious, every day white. Apricot, tangerine oil, mint, chamomile and yellow flowers all grace this tasty, supple Vernaccia from Fontaleoni. This 100% vernaccia is from 35+ year old vines, hand-harvested with soft pressing and fermentation and ageing taking place in stainless steel tanks. A bit of old vine material, high altitude and low yields with gentle handling in the winery produce an incredibly vibrant vernaccia with a ton of energy and wonderful plush fruit that sings along. They seem to be able to extract every bit of goodness out of this bottling and make it seem effortless to drink.

This Verdejo entices with it's clarity of fruit, and invokes the full Rueda experience with trademark fresh, herbaceous overtures. Produced with a careful selection of our best Verdejo grapes in the region of Valladolid, cultivated in gravelly soils. Straw yellow and green hues, bright it shows a powerful and fresh nose. Round and persistent on the palate. Pair with shellfish and salads. Ideal serving temperature 6-8 degrees. Rueda is located along the banks of the Duero River in Spain’s Castilla y León region, just a 2-hour drive north of Madrid. While winemaking in this area goes back to the 12th century, it was in the 1980s that the region was granted Denominación de Origen (D.O.) status. Today, more than 70 wineries call Rueda home.
