Vernaccia is a white Italian wine/grape produced around the Tuscan town of San Gimignano. An absolutely delicious, every day white. Apricot, tangerine oil, mint, chamomile and yellow flowers all grace this tasty, supple Vernaccia from Fontaleoni. This 100% vernaccia is from 35+ year old vines, hand-harvested with soft pressing and fermentation and ageing taking place in stainless steel tanks. A bit of old vine material, high altitude and low yields with gentle handling in the winery produce an incredibly vibrant vernaccia with a ton of energy and wonderful plush fruit that sings along. They seem to be able to extract every bit of goodness out of this bottling and make it seem effortless to drink.

Señorio de la Tautila white wine comes from the Airen grapes, which combine the sweetness and aroma of its origin with the necessary density to make this wine a great companion. It is carefully produced and de alcoholised just before bottling, preserving its organoleptic characteristics and extracting only the alcoholic and caloric content from this citrus scented white. Fresh, aromatic with a citrus note and good intensity. Lively with a pleasant bitter aftertaste. Pair with appetizers, and seafood.

Rueda is located along the banks of the Duero River in Spain’s Castilla y León region, just a 2-hour drive north of Madrid. While winemaking in this area goes back to the 12th century, it was in the 1980s that the region was granted Denominación de Origen (D.O.) status. Today, more than 70 wineries call Rueda home. This national favorite is the top-selling white wine in Spain.
