Chris Ringland, the man behind such famous names as Three Rivers Shiraz, creates a wine that is made from mature Northern Barossa vines and shows dark mass of concentrated black and blue fruits, laced with sweet mocha and wrapped in a smooth, velvety texture. Not for the faint of heart, the CR Shiraz is improving vintage on vintage.

This Shiraz from Robert Stein displays savoury fruit and nut characters, with spice and chocolate flavours in the mouth. A multi vineyard blend from 35 year old vines, this Shiraz is great for drinking now or cellar for 8-10 years.

This Merlot displays forest fruit and plum characters, dark chocolate flavours in the mouth, with a supple medium weight tannin finish. Being fruit off the older Robert Stein vineyard block that was planted back in 1989 has helped add complexity to this early drinking style.

This Tawny style fortified is a blend of 5 to 12 year old Port, matured in old rum casks to create a rustic and generous style fortified wine. Best served after meals with hard cheese, and around a campfire with friends.

A warm, dry vintage in 2018 allowed the vines to thrive and has produced a wine dense and dark purple in colour. Expect leafy and tomato bush characters on the palate with generous yet soft tannins in this medium-bodied wine. Aged in French and American oak barrels producing a versatile drop to be enjoyed both now and as it matures.

Chris Ringland Shiraz 2005 represents an outstanding expression from the vineyard. The vine is powerful, voluptuous and ripe, yet the tannins are plush and mature, with moderate acidity. This vintage will have great longevity potential.
