The Bladnoch Bicentennial Release has been matured for 29 years in Oloroso Sherry casks and finished in Moscatel casks for a final 18 months. Only 200 bottles were made to celebrate 200 years, making this an extremely rare release. Colour: Chestnut gold. Nose: Lovely rich old Sherry aromas, acacia, honey, beeswax, orange, fruitcake, a whiff of coffee and a hint of chocolate. Palate: Soft and silky Sherry flavours. Dark chocolate, ginger, spicy citrus notes, balanced oak and a hint of ground black pepper. Finish: Warming with a hint of honeyed spiciness. Satisfying and long.

Matured for over ten years in warehouse located near the sea, for a smooth tasting whisky with an air of sea salt on the finish. Some of our casks are matured in warehouses that are more exposed to the cooler sea air. The conditions in this coastal location affect our maturation climate and help create a smooth style of whisky that we call Sea Cask.

Aged 4yrs in Sherry Barrels sourced from Frances wine region, our 100% Tasmanian Single Malt Sherry Cask is a delicate and subtle whisky, with a slight aroma of sweetened candied nectar and a dried fruit spice on the nose, with an undertone of butter. The Nikka Coffey Malt is the result of a unique distillation process in Coffey type column stills, which are normally used for grain whisky production.As such, this unique 100% Coffey malt is categorized as a grain whisky, and offers a surprisingly rich texture with deep oaky notes.
