Ardbeg 10 Year Old Scotch Whisky
Ardbeg 10 Year Old Single Malt is typical Islay (eye-la). Light gold colour with exceptional balance and depth on the nose. The aroma is a beguiling mix of toffee and chocolate sweetness, cinnamon spice, Fresh citrus and floral notes of white wine are evident, as are melon, pear drops and a gentle creaminess. There is also fresh phenolics of seaspray and smoked fish. Hickory and coffee emerge on the finish.
Michter's US 1 Straight Rye Whiskey
Michters is Americas first distilling company, dating back to 1753 when they started out making rye whiskey. They take a Cost Be Damned approach to the production of every barrel, using various methods including air drying their barrels for 36 months, toasting the barrels before charring them, using a low barrel-entry strength, heat cycling to encourage ageing during the winter. This Rye is a brilliant whiskey with fresh spice notes and a lingering soft finish.
Germana Cachaca Heritage 10yrs
The word heritage has various associations: inheritance, patrimony and a family secret kept under lock and key by the Caetano family. This germana cachaça is aged for eigth years in French Oak barrels and then for two more years in Balsam barrels to break the woody flavour and aroma an lighten the darker color result of the Frech Oak barrel aging.
El Dorado 12 Year Old Rum
The El Dorado 12 Year Old has been awarded a gold medal at the International Wine and Spirit awards for 8 years running. A blend of specially selected aged rums, it is a combination of the Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills and the Port Mourant double wooden pot still, blended to perfection. Lush tropical fruit and spices dominate the nose with hints of honey and dark sugar. It has a round, mellow, full bodied palate with powerful fruit, tobacco, and orange; leather and toasty oak flavours.
