On the palate: Rich and beautifully developed with a lovely warm core of buttered toast, preserved lemon and lemon curd in a terrifically textured, layered and complex wine. So remarkably fresh and complex.

Attractive aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of nougat and talc. The medium weight textural palate displays vibrant flavours of citrus fruits, dried pears and some riper tropical notes. The restrained use of French oak and wild yeast fermentation adds subtle complexity and texture to the palate which finishes with a clean mineral edge.

The Semillon comes from 20 year old vines rooted in the North Block gravels and sees a small amount (13 per cent) of barrel fermentation. This wonderful Chardonnay culminates in a generous and seamless finish, marked by nougat and hazelnut characters. With a cellaring potential up to three years, this alluring Miles From Nowhere Chardonnay has been crafted to be relished upon release. Pair it with mushroom risotto and creamy seafood to appreciate its grand fruit flavours.

No other variety allows the winemaker so much room to move in terms of flavour modification in the winery. In this wine we have used barrel fermentation in 25% new oak puncheons, juice MLF, wild yeast fermentation, yeast lees stirring and some solids inclusion in the ferment.

This Blanc is a crisp straw colour, offering a romantic glow through it when held up to the sunshine or a dinner-time candle. The blend is made with majority Sauvignon Blanc grapes plus a handful of Chenin Blanc. The result is a classic dry white, with enough sweetness to give your taste buds something to dance around. The fruit comes from our Quindalup vineyard and is simply made in a stainless steel tank for freshness.
