Our Navy Strength Gin uses the same botanical mix as our classic London Dry Gin including Primrose, sweet cicely, nettle, rhubarb, milk thistle, rose-hip and Taylors of Harrogate green and jasmine tea, however is stronger and richer with an ABV of 57%. This creates a great body and intensity whilst still retaining our classically smooth finish. This gin continues the tradition of the Royal Navy’s ‘proof test’, whereby gunpowder can still ignite if gin is accidentally spilled upon it.

Our award-winning London Dry Gin has been crafted using locally sourced botanicals that are synonymous with the beautiful and restorative nature of Harrogate including Primrose, sweet cicely, nettle, rhubarb, milk thistle, rose-hip and Taylors of Harrogate green and jasmine tea. These unique botanicals are complemented with water drawn from the world-famous Harrogate aquifer, pure single grain spirit and a handful of the finest ingredients sourced from around the world.

In southeast Spain, where the finest Murcian lemons, mandarins and sweet Navel oranges grow, Bombay Sapphire works closely with local suppliers and farmers to sustainably source the most exquisite citrus. During the late season’s annual harvest, using techniques passed down through generations, dedicated suppliers and farmers handpick and hand-peel each fruit at its most ripe and allow them to dry naturally under the Mediterranean sun, capturing only the brightest, most aromatic citrus oils that harvest has to offer. In each small batch, the master distiller selects the precise cut of the distillation to ensure each-and-every bottle is a fitting tribute to the region, the suppliers and farmers’ craftsmanship, and the supreme quality of that harvest ensuring the same outstanding liquid is produced each year. BOMBAY CITRON PRESSÉ contains hand-picked Mediterranean lemons, which have been harvested early in the season to capture their zesty, citrus notes before being hand-peeled and concentrated to create an 100% natural fruits infusion. This infusion is then married with our Vapour Infused gin perfectly balancing the taste of freshly squeezed lemons, whilst enriching the juniper notes of the gin. The real fruits infusion with no added sugar gives BOMBAY CITRON PRESSÉ a distinct colour and natural flavour.

Lovely pale gold and gentle, fine bubbles. Toasty, spicy and complex aromas showing wonderful development after extended lees ageing in the cellar. The palate supports these complex aromas with honey, almond, pastry and baked apple flavours. Very fine and elegant with a great combination of intensity, delicacy and length.
