Made through the combination of unique ingredients, predominately maize/corn, and the modern technique of column distillation producing an exceptionally clean smooth and sweet Irish whiskey.

Redbreast 12 Year Old Irish Whiskey is the quintessential example of premium Irish Whiskey, and considered to be the purest form of the art. With a history dating back to 1903 when John Jameson & Company entered into an agreement with Gilbeys Wines & Spirits Import Company to supply new make whiskey which was then 'bonded' in old sherry and port casks. Single Pot Still whiskey is unique to Ireland and this exciting example is crafted from both malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in a traditional copper still. The result is a whiskey of unrivalled richness, complexity and smoothness. Hints of creaminess on the finish round out an true Irish Whiskey of pedigree.

Japanese whisky is not only Suntory or Nikka, there are many other less known distilleries whose reputation continues to grow. And for this new tasting, They choose a blended malt, the White Oak Tokinoka blended malt. The White Oak distillery, located in the city of Akashi (Hyogo Prefecture), was the first to obtain a license for distilling whisky in 1919. Built in 1888 for the production of sake and shochu, at the beginning the distillery produced only blend whisky in a traditional way and specially reserved for the domestic market. Then the site was modified in 1984 to start producing whisky in bigger quantities. The Eigashima Shuzo Company owner of the distillery, produced since 2007 several single malts named Akashi.

Johnny Drum Private Stock Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the premium offering from the Johnny Drum range. Bottled at 101 proof, this big bold bourbon is a terrific rich, mellow old-school sour mash bourbon produced in very limited quantities to a method unchanged in five generations of quality distilling. Carefully selected unprocessed whiskies and pure, natural spring water are expertly blended to create this distinctive whisky. A gift from the land that surrounds Mt. Fuji, home to the finest natural spring water. Tasting Notes: Clear amber, faint smoky accent with sweet aroma, redolent of pear and dried fruit. The palate is slightly edgy attack, but well-rounded and mellow. Finish is slightly spicy. A long finish with a hint of white oak and a spreading sweetness.

Yoichi Single Malt is described as bold and strong. Pleasant peaty notes and smokiness originate from traditional direct coal-fired distillation accented with a briny hint delivered by the sea breeze during the ageing process.
