Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the pinnacle of the Johnnie Walker Whisky stable. Johnnie Walker Red Label continues to be one of Australia's favourite Scotch Whisky's. With a pedigree that dates back to 1820 when John Walker himself was bottling and selling whisky in his grocery store, it was his son, Alexander Walker, who began the legacy that has made Johnnie Walker the iconic name it is today. The Red Label was first introduced in 1909 and contains an expert blend of 35 grain and malt whiskies to produce a whiskey ideally suited for mixing. Johnnie Walker Green Label Scotch is a blend of entirely Single Malts and has aromas of smoky vanilla oak, pepper, fresh cut grass and sandalwood on the nose. Rich mouthfeel with a delicate earthiness are balanced through to a lingering malty aftertaste. Sophisticated and full of finesse. Great to enjoy neat or on the rocks.

Complex, with distinctive butterscotch, sherried fruit and peat smoke aromas. Big, full-flavoured, with excellent balance, develops slowly, full of sherry sweet malty tones, and a touch peat smoke. The finish is long lasting and smooth, with a hint of spice and sherry sweetness. Overall combines the smoothness of our younger whiskies with the greater depth of our older expressions.

A gentler, more feminine and food friendly expression that Islay lovers should get to know. Despite being the largest distillery on Islay (in terms of production anyway), nearly all of Caol Ila's output ends up in blends, so much so that until 2002 when the 12-year-old was released, independent bottlings were the only recourse for malt hunters. The distillery's gently fruity-smoky style sets it apart and comes down to the production process: "...although it receives the same spec of malt as sister distillery Lagavulin, Caol Ila’s distillation regime – longer fermentation, higher cut point, taller stills, helps to reduce the heavy phenols." Tasting note: Pale straw colour with a subtle green blush. Aromas of soft, sweet peat - smoked trout, a hint of lanolin and some baked citrus. Rounded, pure and impeccably clean from start to finish, the palate offers semi-sweet smoky-fruity-oily flavours counterpointed by super fine tannins. Perfect balance.
