Mountain Goat has been championing Aussie craft beer since 1997, putting our own spin on the classics from our first ever release, Hightail Ale - a modern take on English Amber Ales, to the original Summer Ale, and Steam Ale. 25 years on that innovative spirit has led us to our biggest challenge yet: reinvigorating a wheat beer for whole new generation of drinkers. This is our new super clean, super crisp, super refreshing, Super Cool lager. We’ve brewed it to be extremely sessionable with a light malt body and a classic dry finish inspired by the great Japanese rice lagers. Taste the Coolness. The Brewery: Untouched 1960’s facade of the Public Bar and Brewery building has long been an icon on the streetscape of industrial Marrickville. Behind the exterior, the old yoghurt factory stood empty for over 20 years before Philter moved in. We’re proud to bring the building back to life and become part of the historical fabric of the suburb we know and love.

Mountain Goat Organic Steam Ale is a crisp, certified organic ale. Incorporating wheat malt in the grist make up and fermented cool, with the use of Hallertau and Citra hops along with a light dose of Galaxy flowers at the end.

White Rabbit White Ale delivers refreshing hints of coriander, juniper berry and bitter orange, with fresh fruity aromas and only a gentle amount of bitterness. A touch of local honey naturally conditions the Ale.
