It is the only whiskey in the Jameson stable that contains a triple distilled sweet grain whiskey which is then blended with a high proportion of select single Irish pot still whiskey. To create its well rounded flavour, Glenmorangie 18-Year-Old Extremely Rare Malt spends fifteen years maturing in American white oak casks, then approximately 30% is transferred into Spanish Oloroso casks for a further three years. Then both elements are blended back together to create a whisky with a rich bouquet and full, rounded flavour.

The richly layered Glenfiddich 15 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is innovatively matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in a handcrafted Solera vat that is never emptied, but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky.

Malt Masters Selection has been matured in a combination of refill, Sherry and Bourbon casks, with a greater proportion of refill to allow the sweet yet refined distillery character to shine through. The whisky, bottled at 40% abv, promises a slightly sweeter take on the classic Speyside style used by the Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old.

Matured for over ten years in warehouse located near the sea, for a smooth tasting whisky with an air of sea salt on the finish. Some of our casks are matured in warehouses that are more exposed to the cooler sea air. The conditions in this coastal location affect our maturation climate and help create a smooth style of whisky that we call Sea Cask.
