Punt Road Napoleone Chardonnay is a lovely cool climate Chardonnay sourced from the Yarra Valley, this wine shows citrus and stonefruit aromas with a creamy barrel ferment texture. Layers of peach and citrus flavours and a crisp acid finish. Incredible quality at this price.

Gary Farr is still one of Victoria's true Chardonnay maestro's and his Chardonnay By Farr is another example. Taken from the original By Farr vineyard, this is a clearly a wine of true clarity and finesse. Flavours of melon and hints of spice with wonderful oak integration mean this wine is simply delicious upon release, but handle some careful medium-term cellaring.

Keppell Smith handcrafts a Chardonnay of utmost power and concentration that produces a length of flavour that borders on the immortal.

Dog Point from Marlborough in New Zealand have quickly established themselves as quality Marlborough producers with their range of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. This Chardonnay has lovely texture due to lees stirring and balanced oak influence. Hints of citrus still remain to produce a Chardonnay of versatility.

Andrew Margan planted the first Albariño in the Hunter in 2014 and such has been its success, he’s planting more. The Spanish varietal’s ability to retain high levels of natural acid while ripening shines through. Peach, grapefruit and white flowers on the nose; clean minerally palate. Will age for 10 years. The Pazo de Barrantes estate is situated in the Galician Salnés valley, in the heart of the D.O. Rias Baixas, and it is surrounded by 12 hectares of own vineyards planted with the Albariño variety. The estate's soils are granitic, with sand on the surface and an average vine age of 40 years. The winery was built next to the original stone manor house in 1991, and started to produce wine under the same philosophy as Marqués de Murrieta: to create estate wines that show the character and personality of the terroir from which they come. Pazo Barrantes was originally conceived as a great wine that expresses the true potential of the albariño grape and captures the essence of the Pazo de Barrantes estate. The wine is made in a slow, unhurried manner: long cool fermentation that lasts 30 days, 6 months of ageing in stainless steel tanks and acacia wood barrels, as well as further bottle ageing prior to release. The result is a truly unique Albarino, with an intense aroma of nectarine and yellow plum, hints of acacia blossom and fennel, with a vibrant, expressive freshness on the palate, and a broad, lively finish. This is a wine that expresses the hedonistic aromatics of Albarino, as well as the moreish textural qualities unique to the variety.

Marc Brédif Vouvray is a stylish Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley in France. Very intense and fruity nose with notes of white flowers and quince. A unique wine in that they have the ability to age for many decades, developing palate weight and honeyed complexity as they age.
