Wedgetail Estate Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

This Yarra Valley estate grown Pinot enjoys the complexity of six different clones of Pinot Noir originating from Europe, America and Australia. A selection of the best barrels, were put to one side to blend a complex and fulfilling wine. The perfume of spices and black cherries with earthy characters jump from the glass. The palate is voluptuous, and light as it should be, the fresh acidity of the grapes creates a vibrant fruitiness on the finish.

Wheeler Willowlake Pinot Noir

Slightly hazy semi translucent red colour with a light red hue. Pretty violet, red cherry and strawberry scents carry good aromatic lift out of the glass with notions of clove, forest floor and spicy cedar also evident. Light and vibrant the elegant palate features red cherry and strawberry fruits over a dash of sour cherries, infusions of fresh herbs, clove and subtle forest floor characters. Tangy acidity with polished tannins and a lively red fruited conclusion. Drink over the next 3-4 years. Alc. 12.9%

Fetherston Fungi Pinot Noir

Sourced from a number of Yarra Valley vineyards, fermented in small batches with different treatments (carbonic maceration, partial whole-bunch and whole berry fermentations utilising optical sorting). 67% of the fruit comes from the valley floor and 33% from the Upper Yarra. The final blend equates to 15% whole bunches and 6% new oak, with the residual balance matured in French oak puncheons and barriques from 2nd to 4th fill. The wine saw four months on lees in barrel prior to bottling.

Fetherston Estate Pinot Noir

Crafted from three premium Yarra Valley sites, combining both MV6 and D2V4 (pommard) Pinot Noir clones. The first parcel was hand-picked on the 20th of February, with the final parcel coming in on the 1st of April. All batches were fermented wild utilising different ratios of whole-bunches, the final blend equating to 25%. Matured in French oak puncheons (30% new), where it saw 10 months élevage prior to bottling.
