The oldest expression in our peated range and a rare opportunity to experience a peated Speyside single malt dating back to the 1980s. Crafted from densely peated malted barley, BenRiach Authenticus aged 30 years is a more intense Speyside malt which carries a delightful balance of WILD HONEY and PEAT on the nose. The combination of the SOFT, CREAMY VANILLA, SUMMER FRUITS and SLIGHT HINT OF COCOA coax the palate, while the INFUSED SWEET PEAT builds gradually to complete the unique character.

The story goes that twin 'beerded' brothers, Thomas and Charles, set out to find the great inland sea of Australia, Lake Eyre. Ensuring they stowed plenty of Pale Ale for their journey into the scorching centre, they soon had no choice but to stay put and let the water find them. This Pale Ale is the lead beer of the Steamrail range, picking up a Bronze medal at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Beer Awards & Silver Medal at Australian International Beers Awards 2018. A Pale Ale brewed with wheat and crystal malt. It has two additions of the citrus and floral cascade hop in the brewhouse. This American style IPA is layered with a range of mandarin flavour from a carefully selected malt & hop bill, and about 100 cold pressed mandarins blended with a concoction of orange peel liqueur (Cointreau). The result is a super drinkable, fruit driven IPA with an assertive mandarin peel bitterness and dry mouthfeel. The perfect seasonal IPA making use of our favourite citrus fruit.
