This wine is made from the best grapes from the Maxwell estate, sourced from low yielding, old vines, the result is a wine that offers pure, rich dark fruit, cocoa and peppery spice for which McLaren Vale Shiraz is famous for.

Penfolds Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre) has a history going back to 1960 when Penfolds made a traditional "Burgundy" style. Penfolds have always loved Mataro (Mourvèdre) for its fantastic ability to blend marvelously with traditional South Australian stalwarts like Shiraz. Adding luscious complexity and palate grip, the Bin 2 is aged in older oak to emphasise the spicy savouriness of Mataro (Mourvèdre) that complements the plush richness of Shiraz.

Our Shiraz is enhanced by the best characteristics of two premium regions. A myriad of rich dark berry fruit flavours from the Wrattonbully region meld ideally with the Adelaide Plain's elegant complexity and smooth finish.Intense colour pre-empts layers of lush dark berry and plum fruits with subtle pepper and eucalypt nuances. A smooth restrained finish is balanced by the soft tannin structure and lingering spice.Perfectly paired with barbecued foods, richly flavoured red meats and game birds.

Gorgeous Grenache displays a beautifully perfumed nose with hints of violets and wild strawberry. The palate is succulent, juicy and Pinot-like in its profile while the finish is savoury and moreish. Sourced from a number of vineyards in The Barossa and McLaren Vale regions of South Australia. All vineyards are vinified in small batches, separately. Wild ferments, whole bunch inclusion, larger oak and no filtration or fining define the natural character of the wine. From our base in the idyllic Adelaide Hills, we work with pristine fruit sourced from iconic vineyard sites. Giles Cooke MW and Fergal Tynan MW, with the helping hand of Peter Leske, hand-make small-batch wines that illustrate the benefits of great sites and intelligent winemaking. The unique blend of superb fruit sources and experience in both the New and the Old Worlds helps craft wine of subtlety, texture and detail wines perfectly suited to complement rather than overwhelm fine food.

Deep Crimson with violet hues. There is a very delicate and pretty nose with perfumes aromas and a dash of fig. There are some forest floor flavours with a savoury mid palate and a touch of pepper along with rich plums and black cherries.

The Smidge St Brioc Fiano 2022 is a shining example of South Australian winemaking at its finest. This vintage from Smidge Wines is a true standout, with a pale straw colour that glistens in the glass. On the nose, aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and lemon zest mingle with subtle hints of white flowers and a touch of minerality. On the palate, the wine is crisp and refreshing, with zesty citrus flavours balanced by a creamy texture and a touch of salinity. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a lingering impression of juicy stone fruits. This Fiano is a true expression of its terroir, showcasing the unique characteristics of South Australia. Chris Ringland Shiraz 2005 represents an outstanding expression from the vineyard. The vine is powerful, voluptuous and ripe, yet the tannins are plush and mature, with moderate acidity. This vintage will have great longevity potential.
