Cognac Tesseron Carafe Tresor Non-Vintage Non-Vintage
It's a sublimely opulent Cognac with intense rancio notes (smoky/nutty characters) that as Albert Tesseron says, "you never find in Cognacs less than two generations old". More viscous and dense in the mouth than the Légende, it's still remarkably sophisticated and (indescribably) complex, with prodigious length on the finish. Each sip fills the mouth with perfume. Sheer indulgence.
Francois Voyer Cognac VS
A young, fruit driven, grape-to-bottle Cognac. 100% Grande Champagne. Francois Voyer is a grower producer: he owns his vineyard and makes his Cognac entirely on his property. Francois Voyer vineyard is located in Grande Champagne, the 1er Cru de Cognac. Present on the finest tables of France, hailed by the specialized press as "among the best of the Grande Champagne", this producer reflects the history of a family, and the beauty of their vineyard. Distilled with the lees, the FV VS ages in new Limousin oak casks with a medium interior toast for 1 year. The ageing process continues in old barrels in a damp cellar. A progressive reduction is made, with distilled water (max 5% of diminution every 3 months). A very fine blend, minimum 30 months old. EYE: golden. NOSE: strong bouquet of vanilla, lime and white flowers. Floral tones are typical of the Grand Champagne cru young Cognacs. PALATE: a gentle start which stays on the pallet for a long time. Fruity, pleasant and persistent. Great for cocktails or can be drunk straight from the freezer. Our cocktail suggestion is a long drink called Brandy Tea. Take some ice, half a slice of orange, half a slice of lemon, 2 teaspoons of honey and 40ml of Voyer VS Cognac. Shake well and then add hot water to make a long drink. Cognac Tesseron Tres Vieux Extreme Noir
This unique bottling is a blend of Cognacs coming from ten demijohns dated from 1853-1906. So all of the Cognacs in the blend are more than 100 years old and almost the entire blend comes from the 19th century—making it considerably older (and finer) than the most famous, big brand prestige cuvées like Louis XIII or Richard Hennessy. Complex is an understatement. The nose is so uniquely developed, with extreme rancio aromas, roasted nuts, a myriad of dried and cooked fruit notes, vanilla and chocolate desserts - simply incredible. The ensuing palate is powerful, showing great concentration, a smooth, velvet texture and an incredible vitality considering its age. Complex flavours confirming the nose, with notes of dried orange peels, some woody notes and spice. An incredible tasting experience and unlike any other.
JEAN FILLIOUX SUBTIL & SO COGNAC VSOP GRAND CHAMPAGNE
Subtil & So, the new VSOP Cognac Grande Champagne by Jean Fillioux. With the noble bottling, the house once again proves that the Grande Champagne, originally known for its old cognacs, can also produce excellent younger qualities. The proof: a coveted gold medal from the Spirits Selection by Concours Mondiale 2021 and a wonderfully harmonious profile of fruity freshness and warm spiciness. The 4 to 6-year-old VSOP comes from the picturesque La Pouyade winery, which has been family-owned since 1894 and is completely independent to this day. It is surrounded by 25 hectares of the finest white wine grapes. They thrive in the "Golden Triangle", the heart of Grande Champagne. They are cherished and loved in the fifth generation by Christophe Fillioux and his family, who are one with their vineyard. You can taste that in their extremely aromatic cognacs – and today they are valued around the world. Tasting Notes: Nose: fruity and delicately floral. Palate: Fresh figs and citrus blend with nutmeg, almond paste and orange blossom. Finish: Enjoyable and warming with subtle spice.
