Located in the heart London's old spirits industry, East London Liquor Company is an independent British distillery and the first to make spirits in East London for 100 years. Originally a glue factory in Bow Wharf, East London Liquor Company found its home in the disused industrial space and repurposed the venue to create a custom-built distillery which sits within a beautiful craft cocktail bar.

Distilled to a unique recipe, Colombo 7 Gin consists of seven spices and botanicals, each with a unique role. Together they create a complex aroma and distinctive taste. Primary ingredients: Juniper berries, Coriander seed, Angelica and Liquorice root. Secondary ingredients: Sri Lankan Cinnamon bark, Curry leaves and Ginger root. Colombo 7 Gin is a distinctly Sri Lankan take on a London Dry Gin. The juniper is distinctive in taste and aroma; surrounded by a beautiful medley of subtle spice notes that, together create an unexpected harmony. Captn Webbs Two Swallows Cherry is a super smooth premium Spiced Rum. The finest rum is married with natural Cherry, Salted Caramel and Spices. Two Swallows Cherry packed with honey and caramel, fruity esters drifting up through the richness. Just a touch of savoury salt notes arrives later on, balanced by lovely warm juicy cherry notes. Two Swallows was created by Thomas Hurst as a tribute to his famous ancestor Captn Matthew Webb who was the first man to swim the English Channel in 1875. Webb died in 1883 when trying swim the whirlpool rapids at Niagara Falls. Traditionally, a tattoo of Two Swallows, when a sailor drowns will carry their soul up to Heaven.

Lovely pale gold and gentle, fine bubbles. Toasty, spicy and complex aromas showing wonderful development after extended lees ageing in the cellar. The palate supports these complex aromas with honey, almond, pastry and baked apple flavours. Very fine and elegant with a great combination of intensity, delicacy and length.
