A great new addition to the Babich range of much loved Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs, this time an organic Sauvignon Blanc. Great single vineyard expression with large amounts of tropical fruit with a backbone of clean and crisp minerals. Cleansing acidity on the finish rounds out what is a true organic star.

The N.Z. by Nature Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing, balanced and mineral wine. The front palate fills with fresh greens and ripe tropical flavours. The crisp grapefruit-like acidity extends the palate to a long mouth-watering mineral finish.

Delicate pear blossom aromatics with sweet spice. The palate is light yet textural, with flavours of quince paste and papaya. This lighter in alcohol Pinot Gris finishes fresh with balanced sweetness.

Nose: Aromatic and pungent. Lemon and white peach, nettles, green capsicum, hints of passionfruit. Palate: Intense classic Marlborough fruit characters with a combination of tropical white peach type characters and fresh cut grass with lively acidity. Clean long and refreshing finish. The grapes for this wine are organically farmed Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Block 4 on the Isabel Estate Vineyard. The wine style, Pet Nat or Petillant Naturel translates to naturally sparkling and is achieved by bottling the wine while it is still fermenting. The wine is made in as natural a way as possible, harking back to ancient winemaking techniques, it is unfined and unfiltered with no added sulphites. A great way to kick off your weekend BBQ, refreshing, lightly sparkling, lots of ripe tropical fruit. A real fruit salad of flavours followed by a textural slightly biscuity finish. Delicious.

The wine is made in as natural a way as possible, harking back to ancient winemaking techniques. Destemmed and co-fermented on the skins, 54% Chardonnay 46% Pinot Gris. The colour of a gingerbread man and tastes a bit like one too. Aromas that remind you of a turkish market. A mix of baking spice and dripping rock melon on a hot summer's day. Juicy with a textural edge. A food wine.
