Yalumba has a proud history as Australia's oldest family-owned winery and their continuing quest for quality shines through in all their wines. This light and fresh example of Riesling is a delicate and citrus driven white, that entices you back, glass after glass.

Kirrihill Regional Riesling displays lifted aroumas of lemon sherbet, freshly squeezed lime juice and hints of orange blossom on the nose. This wine is bright and lively on the palate, sharing similar tasting profile with a fine and mineral like acidity on the finish. This Riesling is best enjoyed in its youth when the Citrus fruit is at its most vital.

The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. This wine from Vickery displays hallmark Watervale aromas showing pure Riesling characteristics of fresh lemon-lime citrus, floral honeysuckle and a creamy richness. The flavours are fresh lemon citrus, with soft mineral acidity supported by the persistent and mouth-watering finish. An absolute delight to drink in its first flush of youth, but will intrigue and reward with additional complexity upon cellaring for 5-20 years.

Brown Brothers are well known for their quality sweet style wines and create the ever popular Crouchen Riesling that exhibits aromas of white peach, pear, even a little lychee. On the palate there is abundant sweet fruit with generous length provided by residual sugar and soft acidity.

Conceived as a white wine development program, the Bin 51 Riesling soon became one of Penfolds' star performers. Eden Valley is an obvious choice of region for Riesling due to the higher altitude and cool climate. The wine offers delicate aromas of fresh cut apples and pears with a twist of lemon and minerality towards the end. A great deal of fruits and acidity makes for an interesting white wine with propensity to age gracefully if carefully cellared.
