Pepper Tree have quickly established themselves as one of the showcases of not only the Hunter Valley region, but the other three regions where they source premium fruit from; Orange, Wrattonbully and Coonawarra. Award winning winemaker, Jim Chatto is at the helm of this progressive winery and here he produces a Cabernet Sauvignon of upmost class and complexity. Tempus Two Cabernet Merlot is well-balanced and full-bodied, exhibiting rich berry fruit and chocolate flavours. Matured in both French and American barriques for ten months to capture and enhance the complexities of these two varieties

Banrock Station Crimson Cabernet is deep red in colour with pinky purple hues. Red berries, plums on the nose, plummy palate with a good length and smooth finish. A perfect wine for those who like a velvet touch to their red.

Majella Cabernet Sauvignon is a classy Cabernet that is a cut above the rest when compared against anything at a similar price. Classic cassis, cedar and herbs are underlined by beautifully handled oak.

Notes of mint and five-spice are evident on a sturdily constructed palate of black olive, herbs and dark fruits alongside fine, ripe tannins that will support the development of additional character and complexity if cellared.

The Regional Series from Capel Vale showcase grape varieties and their most suited regions. This example of Margaret River Cabernet has all the traditional flavours of blackcurrent, bay leaf and a hint of cigar box.
