The citrus rind and grapefuit lead the palate to an overall fine yet textural journey. Cape Mentelle Chardonnay had this distinctive minerally line too, apparent with focussed refreshing acidity. Faint nuancesof soft nougat and cashews also add to what is a harmonious balance and an elegant and length finish.

Deep Woods Estate Reserve Chardonnay gives aromas of fresh stone fruit and citrus blossom combining with warm straw, cedar spice and chipped oyster shell. The Palate displays pure and elegant stone fruit, lime zest and jasmine. A fine acid backbone combines with lees-derived texture to produce a wine of depth, and complexity with an underlying minerality.

Devil's Lair The Hidden Cave collection was created to showcase the daring and innovative approach to Margaret River winemaking. Oliver Crawford hits the mark beautifully with this Chardonnay that is bursting with Granny Smith apple aromas. In the mouth the wine is a cascading behemoth of white peach and rich nougat.

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. This excellent expression of Chardonnay, partly due to only limited time in oak, is light, fresh and zesty but with inherent complexity. Pale straw in colour, this wine exhibits lifted nectarine and white blossom characters with underlying minerality and depth. The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe stone-fruit flavour nuanced by cashew notes. A refreshing backbone of natural grape acidity provides further structure and length.

The grapes used to craft Credaro 1000 Crowns Chardonnay were handpicked and whole bunch pressed. The juice obtained was directly run off into barrels, and wild fermented with yeasts. This led to the creation of a pale straw coloured wine with a deep green rim. The perfumed nose exudes scintillating aromas of white peach, pear, nougat and citrus. This delightful Chardonnay is smooth and juicy on the palate, brimming with flavours of stone fruit, grapefruit and citrus blossom. The aromas and flavours are supported by a fine and delicate layer of mineral acidity, offering a creamy texture and a lingering finish. This medium to full bodied white wine has the potential to be cellared for 5 to 8 years from vintage, tasting wonderful with grilled fish, pumpkin pie and creamy camembert cheese.

Fermentation in stainless steel tank allows the full expression of Chardonnay fruit aroma without the influence of oak or lees resulting in a bright, clean tropical fruit bouquet.
