Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate is smooth with a rich, fruity sweetness. Warming with subtle flavours of sandalwood and smoke. Taste is powerful, complex, rich yet smooth. One by one, The Last Great Malts of Scotland will leave their distillery gates. Deemed the bad boy of Speyside, Craigellachie is an unapologetically unique and challenging Single Malt. This is a complex dram, packed with flavour and texture. 13 Years Old, from an 1891 distillery. Bottled at a punchy 46% ABV. A stubborn, sulphurous single malt, condensed in rusted worm tubs on an inhospitable rocky bluff.

Rounded and smoky - like burning Applewood - with creamy toffee, aniseed, treacle and dates. A curious suggestion of juicy fruits, such as peach and banana. With a drop of water, reminders of Ardbeg's classic fragrance lime, pine resin, fennel, saddle soap and tar. A gentle waxiness, like fragrant candle wax, and hints of smoked herbs. An Oa gives a final subtle reminder of the sea with briny notes and seaweed but always accompanied with creaminess. A smooth, creamy texture leads into a huge syrupy sweetness, flavours of milk chocolate, treacle toffee, aniseed, orange and smoky tea leaves. Gentle, sweet spices (nutmeg & cinnamon), some cigar smoke, and a very unusual flavour of grilled artichokes. Wood is always present in the spirit, gently nutty and reminiscent of a carpenter's workshop. A long, sweet finish, with floral overtones, mint toffee and some gentle malty biscuit notes.

The oldest expression in our peated range and a rare opportunity to experience a peated Speyside single malt dating back to the 1980s. Crafted from densely peated malted barley, BenRiach Authenticus aged 30 years is a more intense Speyside malt which carries a delightful balance of WILD HONEY and PEAT on the nose. The combination of the SOFT, CREAMY VANILLA, SUMMER FRUITS and SLIGHT HINT OF COCOA coax the palate, while the INFUSED SWEET PEAT builds gradually to complete the unique character.

Dewars signature 25 year old - aged for a quarter-century a tribute to the art of blending. The accumulation of knowledge and skill passed down through generations of Dewars Master Blenders, since 1846, is evident in every precious drop. A blend of fine and rare scotch whiskies from the Dewars inventory are double aged and rested in Royal Brackla casks, Scotlands first and oldest Royal distillery, to create this intriguing blend. Rich fruit, Floral notes and delicate honey with a hint of smoke to finish.

This superb richly sherried single malt is matured for at least 12 years in a combination of the finest Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. Non chill filtered, natural colour and bottled at 43%, The GlenDronach 12 Year Old original is a sweet, creamy dram.
