Brown Brothers are well known for their quality sweet style wines and create the ever popular Crouchen Riesling that exhibits aromas of white peach, pear, even a little lychee. On the palate there is abundant sweet fruit with generous length provided by residual sugar and soft acidity.

The Gold Turtle range from Madfish had always been a family favorite. Pale lime yellow in colour, their Riesling has the classic varietal characters, such as lifted citrus blossom and minerals. Generous lemon curd and citrus fruits on the palate it finishes with mouthwatering acidity. Great match with seafood.

Peter Lehmann, icon of the Barossa Valley, has been churning out award winning Rieslings like it's childs play recently. The Wigan Riesling with all its lifted aromatics of citrus and white flowers followed by a complex palate that lingers has again picked up award and award.

With the name of Tim Adams behind this exciting Riesling, it isn't hard to see why many have fallen in love with the wonderful, casual style aromatic white. Rich in lemon curd, lime aromas and flavour and with a touch of sweetness, this wine lends itself to some easy food matching; especially with Asian cuisine. Mouth-watering acidity and length of flavour will have you also falling in love with great Clare Valley Riesling.

As part of their quirky Ministry Series, Capital Wine produce a wonderfully racy and aromatic Riesling named The Whip. A floral nose of lime citrus and lemon rind followed by an intense palate of searing natural citrus acidity. The finish lingers in the mouth and is the perfect wine match with Thai food or simple fish 'n' chips.

Pristine vibrant nose of lime blossom lemon and green apple. Crisp and elegant with deep citrus flavours and a minerally touch on the back palate. Consistently fine Clare Riesling from this producer.

This cuvée is a blend of fruit from high altitude Estate vineyards - including the brilliantly named Sandgrub vineyard - dotted around the village. There's a good dollop of Wasseros too, a fine vineyard which wraps around the Gräfenberg Grosse Lage. We've had some great bottles of this wine over the years, but few with the kind of horsepower on offer here. Racy and cool, with citrus and ripe stone fruit, yet balanced by fabulous, mouth-watering acidity; this is the sort of wine that will make Riesling lovers shudder with pleasure. Robert Weil doesn't make 'entry level' wines, as this clearly shows.

The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. Tasmanian grapes sourced for the wine display the core elements, highly regarded by the Pflaz winemakers for or elegantly structured and balanced Riesling. Delicate lime zest and floral aromas fill the glass. Further citrus flavours develop on the fresh mineral structure, enhanced by the juicy fruit flavours.

Pale straw with green hues. Aromatic pear and citrus on the nose, with the same fruit characters and a touch of lychee coming through on the palate. The finish is balanced with soft acidity.

Mouth filling notes of freshly cut apples, flowers and a thread of honey is balanced by the most incredible, crunchy acid. Its a journey of flavour with each mouthful. Oh and look at the price...
