A blending of malted and un-malted cereals whisky distilled partly by Pot-still and partly by Coffey Still (continuous distillation) in Scotland. After 4 years in oak wood, it has been reduced to 44% alc./vol. with Pentland Hills' water. Matured partly in Scotland and partly in France, bottled without filtration.Opalescent tint.Slight iodine fragrances with a hint of almond, vanilla roundness, floral fineness. As each Gift Box is manually waxed, no two boxes are the same, some minor organic imperfections may be visible.Old Fashioned:The Old Fashioned is said to have been first created at the Pendennis Club, a famous gentlemens club in Louisville, Kentucky in 1881 in honour of Colonel James E. Pepper famed bourbon distiller, who then introduced it to New York high society during his frequent visits to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel bar in New York. They clearly embraced it, given how the infamous Mad Men had such a taste for it 80 years later in the 1960s Manhattan advertising scene. The Old Fashioned has had a makeover or two over its time. But this smooth, bitter, sweet simplicity of Bulleit Straight Bourbon Whiskey, traditional Angostura Bitters, and sugar cane syrup is a tonic that Don Draper himself would approve of.Serving Suggestions:Serve Dr Onyx Old Fashioned gently swirled in a short glass over ice, with a twist of orange zest. Pinch the zest so the oils spray over the drink before dropping it into the glass.

Mexicans save the lime, salt and Tequila combination for Margaritas – which happens to be one of our most popular cocktails. Silver is the Tequila of choice, which is made from the blue agave plant – larger in size and sweeter in aroma and taste, the blue agave is an important economic product of Jalisco, Mexico due to its role in producing and exporting Tequila. Tequila is known to aid digestion and help lower blood sugar. So, this is the perfect preparatory tonic for those with plans for a Mexican style feast.
