Semi translucent bright red to dark red colour with a light luminous red hue. Pronounced freshly crushed cherry and strawberry aromas mix with some inky earth and spicy herb notes. Juicy cherry and strawberry fruits are interwoven with subtle inky earth and dried herb elements. Soft fleshy mouth feel with velvety tannins. Finishes fresh with a savoury red fruited aftertaste. Crimson with violet hues. Spiced plums and peppercorns with fruit cake and forest floor aromas. The palate is a mix of violets and spice with hints of dutch licorice and lingering plum and cherry flavours. This is a fruit driven, medium bodied wine with soft, silky tannins and a savoury, persistent finish.
