Merlesco combines fruit from our two McLaren Vale vineyards. Our McMurtrie Road vineyard on the valley floor enjoys sunny days and cooling evening breezes from the nearby ocean. Our Angel Gully Vineyard in the McLaren Vale sub-region of Clarendon is the highest vineyard in McLaren Vale and has a long, slow growing season with cool nights and warm days on shale stone soil.

Light bodied, bright and bursting with clean, clear flavours of lime and Granny Smith Apple. Mouthwatering acidity and savoury, pithy texture draw out the palate, making it an ideal foil to fresh seafood dishes.

Ripe fruit, oak and a rich smooth mid palate. The wine finishes with a long even mineral persistence of flavour with a hint of citrus.

From its silky, slightly smoky, oriental fragrance, which somehow smells like pale gold, through its mellow middle to the fine drawn-out tannins of its tail, it is simply one smooth lovely ride. Its flesh is plush without pudge, its acid solid but reserved, its length, poise and form just perfect. It will live, mellow, burnish and bloom for many years in the cellar. The grapes were hand-picked and carefully basket pressed, with only 60% of the extractable juice used to eliminate any potential broadness. No sulphur was added, and the juice was transferred to French oak barriques (10% New) without any settling or fining, where it underwent wild yeast fermentation. The Yangarra philosophy centers around producing wines solely from our single-vineyard estate, where our bush-vine Grenache is the keystone variety. A vibrant addition to the 'new wave' wine landscape that is right on point and a must try!Super fresh and bursting with energy and zip, expect aromas of ginger, rose petals, orange zest and mandarin. The palate is equally bright and enjoyable with multiple layers of flavour along the same spectrum and supported by beautiful texture. Refreshing and difficult to resist.

Our Fiano is a modern Australian interpretation of this delicious Italian grape variety. Aromas of honeydew and white peach with hints of citrus blossom and kaffir lime. On the palate we taste an array of complex fruits from white peach and semi dried white nectarine, to white saffron pear and citrus with classic creamy texture that is Fiano. The wine finishes refreshingly dry and crisp. A great partner with salads, seafood, light poultry and a refreshing drink on its own.

Chapel Hill's 'The MV' range celebrates an exploration of some of McLaren Vales finest vineyard sites. Sourced from a terraced block that is perched above the picturesque Onkaparinga Gorge, resembling a natural amphitheatre for Chardonnay to proudly express both complexity and varietal finesse. Crafted with a gentle patience, using entirely by-hand winemaking techniques, this wine demonstrates the beauty, complexity and character of place, varietal and vintage. To preserve purity and character, this wine is made with minimal additions and is allowed to clarify naturally without the use of fining or filtration - meaning it's suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
