NOSE : Intense berry fruits merge with creamy vanilla and rich caramel with hints of freshly-baked gingerbread. TASTE : Beautifully balanced and full of character. Blackcurrant and liquorice dominate in the first instance, then chewy caramel toffee and chilli-infused chocolate come to the fore. FINISH : Rich and satisfying. Dark chocolate and caramelized raisins linger on the tongue long after the last sip is taken.

A mix of first fill ex-Bourbon and first fill ex-Sherry casks were used to create this rich, lightly smokey malt.

This 18 year old release has been created using a handpicked selection of first fill and refill ex-bourbon American white oak casks and then finished in responsibly sourced 100% Scottish oak casks. As our new make spirit evolves in this unique cask duo, it creates balance and brings a beautiful richness and depth to our tropical distillery house character. The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and rare 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry casks from the renowned Gonzalez Byass bodega. For its final flourish, it is further finessed in Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques that gift the whisky its unique body and character. The body, structure and character of this extraordinary expression is one of a kind. Aromas of cinnamon, vanilla and red fruits. Flavours of tropical fruits, banana toffee and vanilla ice cream. The The Glendronach Allardice 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky has been named after the renowned founder of the distillery, James Allardice. This whisky is bright deep gold with a tawny centre. Sweet aromatics of fudge and Muscovado sugar. Fruit compote and glacier morello cherries provide added complexity.
