Drawing its inspiration from the Bordelaise tradition of blending multiple compatible grape varieties; This Levantine Hill Melange Traditionnel Blanc is a complex, aromatic wine that is crafted for its ageing ability. It displays subtle fruit characters of blood orange, musk, ginger, apricot and gooseberry on the nose with well-integrated savoury oak and acidity on the palate. It has a textural silky finish. Many of us wine drinkers have a soft spot for Chablis. Its with great reason too, given our climate and affi nity with seafood. A little over two months ago, we were thrilled when this wine hit our shores for the first time following a selective buying trip. Once again, it showcased its undisputed quality and notoriety in our tasting sessions. Established in 1850, this small family owned domain is the proven choice of so many when it comes to great Chablis. The estate comprises a mere 45 hectares of vines scattered throughout the region, grown on the famous Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Textbook in expression and style, super fi ne and elegant, this 2013 has perfectly poised, piercing acidity. This drives superb length of flavour on the featherweight light palate. Is there a better oyster wine?

A young and approachable white wine, this wine has been crafted to last a long time in the cellar. The well balanced palate contains fresh citrus elements supported by crisp acidity, leading to a clean finale.

The wine shows an amazing length of flavor and mouthfeel with strong, clean acid on the finish and some secondary characters derived from the slight solids ferment. A great example of Hunter chardonnay with its the citrus/acid backbone, which is a benefit of no malolactic fermentation.

Ink Dry Gin was created in the Northern Rivers of NSW after a global voyage of botanical discovery. This natural floral infusion of butterfly pea flower petals gives Ink Dry Gin a remarkable and lustrous inky blue hue. Visually beautiful with changes of colour from deep blue to blush pink when mixed with tonic water or a splash of lemon juice. Distilled with a blend of traditional and exotic ingredients, the flavour of juniper , native lemon myrtle, Tasmanian pepper berries and sweet orange make for a aromatic and full flavoured experience.

Sourced and grown in the Adelaide Hills, this is a fine example of how good Chardonnay from this region can be. This is a blend of 3 different cultivars of the Chardonnay grape. Bunch pressed and in part wild fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation imparts further complexity. A beautifully textured and complex wine.

Conceived as a white wine development program, the Bin 51 Riesling soon became one of Penfolds' star performers. Eden Valley is an obvious choice of region for Riesling due to the higher altitude and cool climate. The wine offers delicate aromas of fresh cut apples and pears with a twist of lemon and minerality towards the end. A great deal of fruits and acidity makes for an interesting white wine with propensity to age gracefully if carefully cellared.

Veuve Capet is the first Vodka exclusively made from Chardonnay grapes (hand-harvested in the famous Côte des Blancs, in French Champagne vineyards). After a fivefold distillation and charcoal filtration, this vodka was assembled with perfectly pure water. Veuve Capet has a unique character, combining roundness and fruitness. Tasting notes : Eye : Perfectly crystal clear. Nose : Rich and elegant bouquet. Fresh, dominated by citrus notes, including grapefruit zest, then evolving to exotic notes of mango and guava. Mouth : Very rich and supple in the mouth. Complex aromas with citrus, the finish is particularly long, dominated by Williams pear notes.
