Soho Revolver Merlot Blend
Soho Revolver Merlot Blend reflects the stunning vintage and skilful winemaking. The gorgeous bouquet shows complex aromas of cassis, dark plum, cedar and dried herb, which lead to a concentrated and focused palate with excellent mid palate weight, smooth texture and abundance of polished, chalky tannins. This wine shows wonderful structure and integration, and promises to develop gracefully.
A medium-bodied, delicious red blend with dark fruit flavours of blueberry and blackberry complemented by notes of coffee and dark chocolate for a rich, yet silky smooth, palate.
Rocca di Montemassi Rosso
This red and bright wine, the spearhead of the estate Tenuta Rocca di Montemassi, is the fulgid expression of the character of the place and the aristocratic lineage of the grapes creating it: Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon. In the glass it shows a voluptuous parable in which the three souls of the originating grapes are mixed in a rare and precious manner, representing in a marvelous picture the unique terroir and the spirit of these lands: the original notes of black fruits, spices and vegetation; the harmonious sip featuring several of the various grapes blend into an expressive and full character, with an endless persistence. Ruby red, intense and evolved with notes of black fruit, undergrowth and hints of tobacco. Concentrated and seductive with slight hints of spices and a perfect balance. The ending note is long and persistent.

Full flavoured and persistent across the palate. Balanced. Blackberry plum and chocolate with mouth-watering tannins framing the fruit. The oak is discernible without overpowering the core of fruit.
The Waxed Bat
Sun, clear air, cool elevated vineyards and great winemaking skills give Argentina all the ingredients for world class wines. Joanna Simon says: "As a wine country, Argentina has everything going for it" (The Sunday Times). The Waxed Bat is a triumphant creation from our good friend Opi Sadler, winner of two international Trophies to date, and winemaker at Andean Vineyards. The wine's name was inspired by memories of his grandfather's cellar - wine bottles sealed with heavy red wax and an occasional bat fluttering in the lamp light. Spicy, liquorice scented Shiraz, cassis laden Cabernet and dense Malbec create power and complexity. Smooth enough to drink on its own and terrific with spare ribs, steak or kebabs. Decant an hour in advance.
Yarra Yering Dry Red No 2
From some of the earliest plantings of Shiraz in the Yarra Valley with vines dating back to 1969. Shiraz (96%) co-fermented with small parcels of Viognier, Marsanne and Mataro aged 12 to 18 months in 50% new French oak barrels produces a wine that is perfumed and feminine with the tannins and acidity as integral to the wine as the fruit. Proven to age for 25+ years, Yarra Yering Dry Red No 2 was the first Cote Rotie style blend made in Australia

Winemaker Sofia Barbanera's intricately complex, layered red scored a MASSIVE 98 points in Italy's highly respected Luca Maroni Guide. In her own words, it's a “supremely sumptuous and aristocratic symphony. She won’t disclose its exact blend of grapes, but we can tell you where they’re from – thast is premium sites in Puglia, Sicily and Tuscany, chosen especially to produce a beautifully counterbalanced wine.A regal taste of premium Italy in a bottle!
Stones & Bones
A frequent Gold medal winner, Stones & Bones is so-called because it’s grown in a landscape littered with ancient boulders and dinosaur fossils. In the modern Portuguese tradition, the wine is a blend of local and international grapes. Touriga Nacional, the backbone of vintage port, joins forces with Syrah, Tinta Roriz and Alicante to produce truly mammoth, rich fruit flavours. Equally impressive is the winemaker, Diogo Sepúlveda, who relaxes after work by cycling or playing football, or, more unusually, bull wrestling! Having worked in Pomerol, then in the Barossa with heirloom Shiraz vines, his credentials for making this rich, old vine Portuguese red are second to none. For maximum enjoyment, decant and serve with a rich beef casserole.
