Tucked away nicely in the Adelaide Hills, Sidewood Estate have made an art form out of crafting some of the very best single vineyard cool-climate wines available in Australia. Owen and Cassandra Inglis purchased the boutique property in 2004 and immediately set about making their vision become a reality. Their Sidewood Shiraz displays that vision to perfection. Attention to detail is the key here which enables flavours of red cherry, currants and dark plum to shine through along with hints of cinnamon and spice. The texture is beguiling and gives promise to a wine that will age for up to a decade.

Cherry and mulberry flavours, coupled with smoky, earthy notes really give this wine it's edge. Finely balanced with smooth tannins to give you a long and pleasant after taste. From the daughter of the legendary Brian and Fay McGuigan, Lisa McGuigan's Pinot Noir is not one to pass up.

Grown not too far from our own vineyard, this bright cherry red medium bodied wine displays a slight perfumed spiciness with hints of white pepper. Carefully balanced with 25% new French oak, wonderful fruit characteristics and gentle tannins, this is a wine that will reward patientcellaring.

Rich and flavoursome the 2018 Cutlass Single Vineyard Shiraz shows thick cuts of red berry and juicy dark plum with some whole bunch derived perfume and spice.The palate is long and persistent with complex fruit flavours overlaid with fresh toasty French Oak.

Wild & Free - Natural fermention, nothing added to ferments - natural yeasts only, slow natural ferments create pure expressions of flavour from our Vineyards in the elevated mountains along the Torrens Gorge, Mt Bera. Richly styled and expressed with dark plum, blackberry, thyme and hazelnut aromas, it's plump and flavoursome in the mouth offering succulent fruit intensity with velvety texture and layers of fine-grained tannins. A small but brilliant parcel of fruit meant our flagship Five Clones Shiraz was on the menu again. The nose is abundant with black and blue fruits also seen on the palate, which is full bodied and underpinned by fine tannins. Further breathing reveals more layers of flavour and complexity after the initial tranche of bright fruits. A superb example of care in the vineyard and judicious winemaking. Enjoy now with decanting or cellar for up to 20 years.
