In 1979, the Zonin family acquired Castello di Albola situated in Radda at the heart of the Chianti Classico DOCG appellation. The estate has earned various accolades for its wines. The wine is vibrant ruby in colour. It displays notes of blueberries and strawberries on the nose. The palate is full of firm tannins with hints of blackberries and chocolate with a persistent finish.Enjoy now or cellar for up to 10 yearsThe fruit for this wine was derived from cuttings of our grandfathers original family vineyard in Tuscany.This is an indigenous variety specific to the Stefani family. Fruit is entirely grown and hand-picked on the family estate vineyard in the Yarra Valley, Victoria.The wine has been aged for twelve months in both new and seasoned large format barrels.

A pure and flowing wine with a nice savoury edge of red earth and red fruits acommpanied by a soft and subtle tannin. The spice is similar to Chinese 5 spice and really works well with the soft herbs and red fruit. It finishes long and clean.Limited Stock

Brunello Ugolforte was named after a local revolutionary that lead the forces against Siena in the 12th century. From the oldest vineyards, the wine is aged in barriques (30% new) for twelve months and then in larger Slavonian casks for three years. A rich full-bodied Brunello with dark berry fruit and spice.
