These elements used in conjunction with the region's cool climate has enabled this medium bodied Chardonnay to retain its attractive and delicate flinty notes and balanced acidity. Since starting off in 2002, Redheads have blazed a trail to become one of Australia’s leading sustainable cellars – masters of small-batch, eco-friendly winemaking. They've won 8 trophies and over 200 Golds for their wines, including two for the debut release of Harmonie Rox. All the grapes come from grower Jack Bursten’s unique Coonawarra vineyard. It was originally planted by the late, great Wayne Stehbans – twice winner of Australia’s most prestigious wine Trophy, the Jimmy Watson. So he knew a thing or two about growing top grapes! And it really shows in the wine. Fermented in part new French oak, it's creamy, spiced and fruity.

With a light straw hue the nose opens with lifted melon, peach,grilled nuts and a clove/cinnamon like character on the nose.The palate is mid weighted but with good flavour intensity. Itshows succulent white peach and tinned pear juice with hints ofmint and mushy peas. With a lovely pithy texture on the palatedue to leaving the wine on lees in French oak. With the Frenchoak imparting subtle clove and biscuity notes, With crispbalanced acidity and good drive to the finish it is a lovelyapproachable wine that would go well with roast chicken andcreamy pasta dishes. Drink young while it is vibrant and fresh but will age in the medium term.

Banrock Station Wise Wolf Chardonnay

Wise Wolf Limestone Coast Chardonnay displays a wonderful bouquet of white stone fruits, green melon and nougat. The palate is a smooth mix of white peaches, nutty flavours followed by a gentle vanilla oak.

Farmers Leap Chardonnay

The palate shows fresh peach and ripe citrus fruits, cashew and hints of spice. It has a creamy texture that is balanced with a line of fine acidity, some minerality and a lingering finish.
