Stretching along Italy's Adriatic coast, the Abruzzo boasts pretty coastal coves and dramatic landscapes of soaring mountain peaks, deep valleys and ancient castles. The region also offers a range of attractive wines - the creamy, plum filled Montepulciano based reds, citrusy Trebbianos and, most recently, fruity Pinot Grigios. This Pinot Grigio is a new addition to our Farinelli range. The estate proudly champions a traditional trellising system, 'pergola abruzzese', which ensures the grapes receive excellent exposure to the bright sunshine and so gain full ripeness. The result is a lovely balance of bright pear and apple fruit, teamed with minerally zip. It makes an ideal apéritif and goes well with fish, chicken and creamy pasta.

Very pale straw yellow and fine, persistent perlage. The aroma is fruity and flowery with hints of ripe golden apple and small mountain flowers. The dry, soft and flavoursome sensation on the palate is followed by a fruity and harmonious aftertaste.

Galliano Black is one of the most recognised Sambucas thanks to its distinctive tapered bottles and intense anise flavour. Serve it neat, on ice, added to coffee or as a flaming shot.

This northern Italian hazelnut liqueur has only been around for 30 or so years but in that time it has become an icon. Used in a number of exotic cocktails it is a valuable addition to any liquor cabinet.

Averna is an excellent liqueur with full body and smooth taste, extremely pleasant for every moment of the day. You can drink it or taste it straight, with ice or frozen. Similar to the famous Black Sambuca from Galliano, the White has a lighter texture and a more open flavour. Such an aromatic drink can be enjoyed in many ways, but a favourite is neat alongside a coffee.
