MULLINE Sutherlands Creek Chardonnay, Geelong 2021 Mulline (which rhymes with divine) was established by the two Bens, winemaker Ben Mullen and business manager Ben Hine, in 2018. Sutherlands Creek Chardonnay is a fragrant, fresh and lively wine with aromas of lemon and white peach followed by fine structure across the tongue with crisp, bright acidity.

Brilliant pale straw colour with tints of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine, white peach and dried honey have a light toast overlay. Delicate citrus and cashew notes are also evident. Fleshy nectarine and white peach flavours line the elegant mid weighted palate with notions of dried honey and faint cashew lying underneath. Yabby Lake Chardonnay has a lifted and fine nose, which is complex and beguiling. The palate is fine and tightly wound together with a precise mineral intensity. Great length and poise, the wine finishes with great purity. Stored carefully this wine will age gracefully for at least eight years.
