Chancellor & Co Merlot is slightly oaked for a backdrop of character, leaving a heady aroma of dark berry and ripe plums to shine through. Once this rich red hits your palate, expect plummy fruits and sharp blackberry to dominate.

Aromas of ripe plums, cherries and spice, hints of Vanilla. A soft, rounded palate with good length and smooth tannins.

Forester Estate is owned by Vignerons Kevin and Jenny McKay. It’s situated in Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region. Kevin’s motto is to build complexity and texture into his wines literally from the ground up! The superb wines are made by Todd Payne who has had “a distinguished career, starting in the Great Southern, then the Napa, Plantagenet, Esk Valley in Hawke’s Bay, and on to the Northern Rhône” (Halliday). This is a beautifully expressive wine. Inky, rich and herbal Cabernet melds with plummy, velvety, mouthfilling Merlot to create a really layered and complex wine you want to keep on sipping.

Kevin McKay’s aim is to focus attention to detail and build complexity into his wines from the ground up. As he says,“We want our wines to consistently reflect the premium fruit grown in the Margaret River region.” This expressive Shiraz delivers all that – and more! Perfumed with spice, pepper, chocolate, plum and boysenberry with underlying violet notes and cedary oak richness.

Bleasdale is “one of the most historic wineries in Australia ... in 2015 celebrating 165 years of continuous winemaking by the direct descendants of the founding Potts family.” (James Halliday). Last year, winemaker Paul Hotker, a “master blender” , was named Halliday’s Winemaker of the Year. Tempus Two Merlot is deliciously ripe, lovely flavours of mulberry fruit with some earthiness and spice. Soft tannins complement the finish.
