Pure Vision Shiraz is an elegant dry organic red wine offering complex French and American oak barrel characters, this medium to full bodied organic Shiraz is dominated by delicious berry flavours and aromas.

Deep magenta in colour: aromatic and lifted with an array of scents that include: blood plum, red berries, smoky charcuterie, cinnamon, Szechuan pepper and the sweet smell of sous bois lingering in the background. This wine has grace and refinement yet it also shows restrained power. It becomes even more complex and tight with decanting and breathing for an hour or more. The 864 range of wines by David Bicknell at Oakridge showcase the very best vineyards at the disposal of this talented winemaker. The 864 Syrah is sourced from a vineyard that is located at the foot of the Warramate Hills at Coldstream and face due north, taking full advantage of the cool Yarra Valley sunlight. The soils are built on grey-loam alluvial with both high clay and ironstone content. This results in a Syrah that displays a bright purple colour in the glass which is followed up with aromas of ripe red fruit and subtle anise. The palate has a core of sweet Shiraz fruit showing red and black berries and a tannin structure that is both velvety and smooth.

The Bowler's Run Shiraz has lively, fresh fruit flavours of ripe plum and red berries are lifted by a touch of spice. A terrific little Shiraz for everyday drinking that is a perfect partner to any barbecue or party occasion.

The Nosey Parker simply delivers in spades. Swathes of sweetly spiced blackberry woven with pencil shaving oak, backed up by a rich, powerfully long palate. The Nosey is a very versatile wine in that it is perfectly suited to be enjoyed on its own or is equally at home when paired with rich and flavoursome cuisine.

Deakin Estate Shiraz is a perfect match for red meat and Italian style dishes, this wine shows ripe plums, rasberries, and spice in harmony with subtle toasty oak.

Blue Pyrenees Shiraz is firm favourite of not only the full-bodied, Shiraz loving customer, it's also the favourite of many of Dan Murphy's Fine Wine staff! Blue Pyrenees Shiraz is a wonderful cool-climate Shiraz that shows cardomon, cloves and blackberry. Palate has chocolate, soft tannins and balanced acid. A brilliant full-bodied shiraz with plenty of character.

Voyager Estate Shiraz is deep red in colour with an explosive nose of oak blackberries and spice that is succeeded by a rich flavoursome palate and some chewy tannins. Will improve wonderfully with time.
