Bloom is triple-distilled using honeysuckle, pomelo and chamomile in addition to the more standard botanicals of juniper, angelica, and cubeb berries. Inspired by an English country garden, its floral and timeless design brings a marriage between that traditional and inspiring.

Matured for over ten years in warehouse located near the sea, for a smooth tasting whisky with an air of sea salt on the finish. Some of our casks are matured in warehouses that are more exposed to the cooler sea air. The conditions in this coastal location affect our maturation climate and help create a smooth style of whisky that we call Sea Cask.

In years long-passed, Distillery workers would help themselves to a dram using a 'Copper Dog'; a pipe hidden inside the leg of their trousers. These Speyside rascals and characters are the inpsiration for this unique blend of eight single malt whiskies, slowly married together in old oak casks. Triple maturation is the secret behind the award-winning taste of Whyte & Mackay. The principal expression available globally is Bell's Original, which comprises up to 40 different malt and grain whiskies. The ‘'heart malt' of Bell's is Blair Athol, while the Speyside malt of Dufftown and the Lowlander Glenkinchie help to shape the blend's character, along with a quantity of Caol Ila from Islay, which adds a touch of island influence. Overall, Bell’s Original may be summed up as offering soft grains and spices on the floral and fruity nose, with a sweet, nutty, malty and spicy palate, which yields just a hint of peatiness.
