Glenfarclas 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a rich, dark mysterious gold colour with a nose reminiscent of relaxing in an old leather armchair while eating walnuts and chocolate covered raisins. Compass Box Whisky's The Peat Monster combines smoky and peaty single malts from the island of Islay and the Isle of Mull with rich, medium-peated Speyside whisky. This is a classic, juniper-forward London Dry style gin. Amongst the recipes thirteen botanicals is a nod to Scotland, with native cobnuts and black mulberry. This is a refined, crisp gin with a distinctively smooth finish. Clean and fresh on the nose, whilst the palate offers juniper, pine and lavender. Bright citrus gives away to a soft, round finish.
